Rotary Club Member of Senior Care Center, Neighborly Home Care, Participated in Annual Holiday Auction

Ardmore, Pennsylvania –  Senior care center Neighborly Home Care’s founder and Ardmore Rotary Club member, Rod Rhen, participated in the Rotary Club’s Annual Holiday Auction on December 18, 2014. The auction was held to raise funds for local non-profit organizations and is a sign of Neighborly Home Care’s commitment to public service.

The Rotary Club’s Annual Holiday Auction raises funds that local non-profit organizations can apply to receive. Those who are chosen are granted the money in the spring of the following year. Organizations who applied in 2014 will receive the auction proceeds in 2015. Local Ardmore residents and anyone else interested in helping support local Ardmore non-profit organizations are encouraged each year to donate items to be sold at the auction.

In addition to the Annual Holiday Auction, the Rotary Club also participates in other yearly non-profit events such as the Annual Fund & Share and 5k run. They also provide continual support for other charitable causes, including donations for Japanese tsunami victims.

Rod Rhen’s commitment to supporting local non-profit agencies is a reflection of his desire to help provide those less fortunate with more financial reach, which was the driving force behind the founding of Neighborly Home Care. Although senior care is the main focus of his company, events held by the Ardmore Rotary Club are great ways to provide continuous support to other aspects of the Ardmore community.

The families we serve keep saying great things.

I just wanted to tell you how grateful we are that Neighborly Home Care stepped in & took over taking care of my Dad when we really needed it, no questions asked. Our caregiver has become part of the family and we know we can depend on her being there every day & taking great care of my Dad. He misses her when she’s not there!
